Monroe Doctrine

This cartoon’s message is about the U.S control over Latin America. It is about the Monroe Doctrine. The Monroe Doctrine didn’t allow European countries to cross into Latin America. The message of this cartoon is the U.S power over a nation. The U.S was very powerful over other nations. Other opinions people might have are that the U.S was very powerful over other nations. The techniques used in this cartoon is exaggeration because Uncle Sam is way bigger than everyone else. It also uses labeling because it labels Monroe Doctrine on the ground. The imperialism used in this is showing the U.S control over other territories. The Monroe Doctrine was very strict to other countries and it was watched very closely so no one would try anything sneaky.
